No. 3

Baby No. 3 is still baking in my belly. It's a pretty active baby, I feel quite a bit of movement throughout the day.  However, I don't really recall how often I felt movement with the other two at this point. We did NOT find out the gender of this baby, and I am glad we didn't.  But if Joe wouldn't have showed up for the ultrasound, I wouldn't have been able to control myself and would have found out. And also would have had a very angry husband. Not really anything exciting to report about No. 3. My belly is getting bigger, I can't suck it in anymore and people are starting to notice. I was just thinking about my pregnancy with Stella. When I was about six months along some stranger said to me something like "you're huge! you must be ready to pop any day!" I said that I had a few months to go and the lady (yeah, you'd think a comment like that would come from a man) could not believe it. She said "are you having twins?!" and my response was: "yes, i'm having twins."  I was so uncomfortable I didn't know what else to say and she wasn't going to see me again, so that's what I said.  I'm sure I'm going to be having twins again this time if someone asks, too, even though I know there is only one baby in there.

We haven't really talked about names yet, but once we decide on names we will be sure NOT to share them with you. That's right. Withholding more information.  But the not sharing the name thing isn't because we want you to be surprised, it's more because we don't want you to be surprised when we decide on a different name at the last minute or after we've already named the baby (like we did with Stella, who has a name card from her hospital crib that says Greta and a name card that says Stella).

If there's any other information we find that we can keep from you about this baby, like if there really is a baby in there, we'll be sure to tell you that we aren't going to tell you!
