Okay. So this week doesn't really count. This week is our adjustment week. We are focusing on adjusting to our new schedule (morning routine, taking care of the dogs, taking care of ourselves, taking care of the house, etc.). So NEXT week I'll really focus on making good meals.
Saturday was sort of a vacation day, so we had McDonalds.
Sunday was Tuna Helper and Sami chowed that down. She even had Tuna Helper for dessert.
Monday was dinner at Great Grandma's (yummy chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy and corn).
Tuesday was Chicken Alfredo pizza.
Tomorrow I am going to make spaghetti. That's the plan anyway.
Things have been going good for me and Sami and the yard rats. Today I feel like I have better control of things. Joe usually comes home from the gym in the mornings to finish getting Sami ready for the day and take her to daycare (she takes forever to get ready because she has to eat breakfast right when she wakes up-like her mother-and then she eats breakfast again at daycare). So the mornings have been the toughest to get used to. Yesterday I was 30 minutes late for work and today I was 10 minutes late. At this pace, hopefully tomorrow I am on time or even EARLY! I think I figured out how much time I need to feed the dogs, let them play outside, feed Sami, get her dressed, brush her hair, brush her teeth, tell her to put her shoes on 57 times, get myself ready, let the dogs in, tell Sami to put her shoes back on and put her coat on, no-put it on the right way, some more arguing, and eventually make it out the door usually while still arguing. Whew! I'm exhausted just thinking about the mornings! Glad that I'm doing this with just one kid (and two dogs).
Hopefully I'll have some more pictures for you soon.
