SJF 10 Months

This picture was taken on 9.26.07. I was getting SJ ready to do the dishes - I mean ready for her bath - I think that all I did was blink and she was off getting into trouble. She started crawling about two-three weeks ago, and she picks up a little more speed every day. Now she is figuring out that she should be able to pull herself up so that she can reach all of the things she is not supposed to have. She's definitely keeping me busy!

SJ has about six or seven teeth now and she's not afraid to use them. Her hair seems to be keeping the Mohawk style and is still blonde as can be, which makes her bright blues pop! She loves to dance, play 'chase', and smiles a lot.

1 Week Down/14 To Go...

This is another picture from the day before Joe left for Missouri. One of my favorites.

Joe has made it through his first 'block' (course). He had his first big test on Thursday (9-27) and passed! If he were to fail, he would be held back and have to take the course over. It sounds like they take about 3-4 quizes per day. The quizes are actually called PC's, which stands for Progress Checks. If they fail a quiz, they get to retake it. I think that if they fail the 2nd try they get recycled (take the course over). So, needless to say, Joe is studying his butt off so he doesn't get set back any. He is very eager to get home and see his 'Ladies'. The Little Lady to be particular. One week down and only 14 to go!!

Joe's last Sunday 'home' for the next few months. He kept SJ home the entire week of the 16th so they could bond as much as possible before he headed south.
