First Tooth!!

Stella's first tooth finally popped through today and the second one isn't far behind. Just like when Sami's first tooth popped through, Stella has had a couple of rough nights (rough for my girls is probably normal for most babies-my babies are great night sleepers!). I knew something was up when Stella started waking up at 1230 and 4am the past two nights.

Not sure if you can see it or not, I had to make her mad so she would open her mouth. It's on the bottom right side.

Cute, right?

Stella now 6 1/2 months old.  Still trying to pop out some teeth.  Has only rolled over twice (from back to front), but she is sitting up pretty well.  She loves to scream.  Screams when she's happy. Screams when she's mad. Screams when she's tired. Screams when she wants someone's attention.  Screams at Sami. She still sucks her thumb, but sleeps pretty good at night. We have a pretty good feeling that she is going to be the comedian in the family.

If I don't hear the words "I CAN DO IT MYSELF!" at least twice a day, then I have spent the day without Sami.  

So Big!

I have been playing So Big with Stella for maybe a month now, and her Nana (daycare) has been playing it with her too. I'd raise my arms and say it, then would raise Stella's arms for her. I think that's the standad procedure for a 5-month-old. Tonight, my mom was over and Stella was sitting on my lap facing my mom. She happened to put her arms above her head and so my mom said "so big!", which prompted Stel to do it again. Now every time we say "so big!" She puts her arms up. It is SO STINKING CUTE!!!
